This is the DCK296M2 kit which is basically the slightly older models included w/ DCK299M2 which is listed for $349 on Amazon. This is going for $290 new on Ebay.

Includes the DCD995 hammer drill, DCF886 driver, two 4.0AH batteries, charger and carrying bag.

Price is not visible until added to cart - these are on clearance so may not be available at your store, though I believe you could get it shipped for ~$20. I placed an order online for in store pick up this morning and picked it up over lunch.

This is the lowest I have seen. I have this set and love it. I can't resist getting another one. Thank you for posting. Worth it even with shipping. XR tools are better than non xR and priced too. Brushless and long battery life.

got one! I recently bought the Sears deal with the oscillating tool for ... I forget what, but after my surprise points and such, it was only about $70... I didn't know it did not come with batteries so I have no batteries and was looking at just a charger and battery for around $100 and those weren't even 4Ah batteries.. so for me, this was almost a steal!!
thanks and repped!

maybe? It's discontinued within both of their systems... so 'maybe' if you find one on a shelf in your local store... you could try.

Good deal, I was holding out for the DCK283D2 set which comes with the drill without hammer mode but it rarely goes on sale and this set has better batteries. Thanks for posting!!

Just tried this with Home Depot. They can't find the model number (since it's discontinued) thus they won't be able to honor it.

I did mention this was the slightly older version in op, sorry if I didn't call it out enough. For most intents and purposes they're won't be a noticeable difference. Probably biggest difference is the DCF887 has a three-speed variable trigger and the DCF886 does not.

Here are the links to specs:

Drill:
DCD996 (newer): https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/prod...ly/dcd996b
DCD995 (this deal): https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/prod...ly/dcd995b

Driver:
DCF887 (newer): https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/prod...re/dcf887b
DCF886 (this deal): https://www.dewalt.com/products/p...ly/dcf886b
