Really not trying to be a threacrapper or anything and I'm going to give a thumbs up for the knife deal but just calling it like I see it. Sure don't want to discourage you from posting. I like knives and will take a look at all.

BTW just in case you are a knife fanatic like me and if you are not aware. You can get some damn fine knives in the $10-$15 range from China. Look up Sanrenmu, Ganzo or Enlan and you will see what I mean. No assisted opening but fit finish and durability many times beat the low end Kershaws and puts the typical department or big box store stuff to shame.

Seems to be about the going rate. You can get them on Ebay for $12.98 with no tax and other retailers are selling them for just about the same price. May be a fair price but don't think it much of a deal. That $29.99 is not original price but suggested retail. Average price on CCC from third party sellers is only $13.62. Basically a $.60 discount at this price.

I guess that's true, not so much a slick deal as more of a good find I guess. Wasn't able to find another Kershaw knife at this price right now on a reputable site.

Not sites, brands. See Gearbest or other Chinese retailers to buy them. Just have to wait for a slow boat from China to get them. You can get most on Ebay or Amazon now but you will pay a hefty markup.

Here's a good example at $12.15 regular price.
https://www.gearbest.com/pocket-k...29572.html

Here is a large one but just great knife at the just under $1 > Ithink it one of the nicest knives I own at any price.
https://www.gearbest.com/pocket-k...18987.html

Warning this can be addictive.

UPDATE:
SORRY! I hadn't noticed that they are now charging shipping on small orders and it affects the price per knife quite a bit. Everything had had free shipping at in the past. This must be a recent change and I just didn't notice it when linking. Shipping for one knife is about $4 but the shipping does drop with larger orders, if you add both to cart the shipping drops to $3.16 and both knives shipped with tracking can be had for a total of $28.10 which I still consider a great deal.

Cool knife, a little heavy but I carry it once in a while when I'm feeling tough. I paid a couple bucks more when I got it, sometime last year.

Thanks for heads up. Changed it to Walmart since I first saw it and bought mine there.

I think it looks pretty cool. Some reviews say the speed assist goes out after a while. Any issues with yours?

No issues with any of my assisted Kershaws, I have a dozen or so.
If ever they do, Kershaw would fix or replace them...after I pay to send it to them.
