Thanks for sharing.

I am using this exact product right now, and I bought it for $29.99 a couple months ago at Costco. I previously used the Lasko Wind Curve Fan with Fresh Air Ionizer, 42-Inch, Silver (2551) [amazon.com].

If you have any questions about this fan, please feel free to ask. In general, I think this is an excellent deal. I'm happy with the fan even at the $29.99 price point.

I bought this fan last week but never opened. Is this good? I used Lasko brand and had good experience.

OP - thanks for the post. Our very old tower fan is wearing out; only low speed works, and that is slow to get up to speed. We've been thinking about this one since the Costco ad came out. Plan to go there today and check it out.

I like this fan a lot. Previously, I had the Lasko Wind Curve Fan with Fresh Air Ionizer, 42-Inch, Silver (2551) [amazon.com], which has a retail price of ~$75. The Lasko one looks a bit better if you like grey and silver more than black; has ionizer, but I don't use it anyway; is a bit quieter; and has a remote that seems to be of higher quality. However, strictly in terms of function, the Cascade isn't bad. At all power levels, the two seem to be almost identical.

$19.99 is an excellent price. Even if it were twice the price, I would still say it's a good deal. I have the fan a few feet from me at this moment.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Might be worth trying out, tower fans start at $40+. If the Costo reviews are all true, returns are fairly easy.

Anyone who has this model, if you use a Wifi or zwave plug to cut power to it, does it resume at the speed it was last on when power is restored through voice/alexa or remotely?

You can simulate what I want to do by pulling the cord with it running and plugging back in.

Last tower fan I had automatically came on at full blast when power was restored which wasn't ideal.

Thanks. I love me some FWPs.

I use my fan for white noise to sleep so it would be nice to have it be a part of a smart home bedtime routine. Lights are automated too, why not the fan.

Picked one up today at Costco and for 20 bucks it seems to be a good deal. Not super noisy and looks nice. The blue lights are pretty damn bright but that can be easily remedied if its a problem.

Only tried a few settings, but on those after unplugging, then re-plugging, the fan did not come back on.
