The American Academy of Pediatrics would disagree. Babies should NOT have firm shoes, but have shoes that are flexible (if they need to have shoes to protect their feet). My son walks around barefoot indoors, but when he's outside he has very flexible shoes that mimic bare feet. Leather shoes like the ones OP posted are very flexible. Here's the abstract from a AAP paper saying as much:

My son is learning how to walk and these soft sole leather shoes are great for him. I just lost a pair so this deal is good timing. For the price, I think I'll pick up two pairs. Thanks OP!

Thanks for your opinion that added nothing of value. I thought they were cute for LOs and seem comfortable and a decent value. In for one. Thanks OP!

How do these compare to Robeez? Is it true to size? Robeez runs large IMO

From what my kids pediatrician said, these shows are not good for babies. As they have a soft sole, he recommended something firm, and steady. There are shoes called Pediped's. Which are Pediatrician and Podiatrist recommended, as they promote healthy foot development.

Sad thing is most ppl A)Dont know abt Pediped and B)Most stores carry soft type of shoes.

My kids first pairs were all pedipeds because pedipeds are soft sole, not hard.

Yes but these shoes and pediped are different. This is like fabric material. It's ok for the house but not for outdoors.
