Picked up this beauty today at Microcenter (Chicago). (LG OLED65B7A 65" $1,019.96 - open box) (See attached pictures). Reserved online & picked up in store. Total was $1,124.51 w/ tax.

Not sure if it is a great deal given that it is an open-box. (Looks great, still had the rear plastic film cover, included all manuals, cables, the remote, but no box).

Added a 3-yr warranty through micro-center for $220, which includes in-home service & screen damage protection. The Tv was manufactured in August 2017 and is still covered by the manufacturer until August 2018.

Hopefully, someone can use this price as a reference point if they find an open box B7 at Microcenter or elsewhere.

Not really "ymmv" more like "I got lucky and wanted to tell people." These stores kind of price open box stuff however the manager sees fit. You got lucky and nabbed a great deal but that doesn't mean other stores magically received open box OLED tvs just because yours did Stick Out Tongue

Getting lucky =/= YMMV.
For a YMMV deal to be a "slick deal" it implies there is a decent chance others can replicate the deal. Having one store out of a thousand mark down an open box TV that was a return or display unit does not mean any of the other stores suddenly have the same deal. There's very little if any chance for anyone else to replicate this exact deal, so it was just coincidence/luck, not a shareable deal. I'm happy for the OP but the thread's pointless.
