it destroys the polk psw10 in every way. this is an excellent budget sub for this price. it sounds much more powerful than the 100/250 rms/peak watt rating would lead you to believe and no ridiculous port noise like the polk is prone to. I have this klipsch sub in my master bedroom set up and can only turn the gain up to about 1/3 or it will shake the entire second floor of my house. nice clean and relatively accurate bass for under $150. highly recommend

32Hz isn't a sub-woofer, that's more like a mid-range thump. Look for 20Hz and below for a sub-woofer.

To get a true 20Hz sub you have to spend $500. +/-3dB @32Hz isn't very impressive for a subwoofer, but this K-100 is a better option than say the Polk PSW10. The Dayton sub-1000, which is constructed about as cheap as you can get, is about the same price and I would take this Klipsch over that, as well. For a tight budget option, this K-100 is good for the money.

PreSonus Temblor T10 does 20Hz and that's priced at $399, I'm sure there are other options also.

Blah blah blah, this is a $100 subwoofer, no one looking at this listing is debating between spending $100 vs $400+ on a sub. We all know for a quality entry level sub like an svs or hsu you have to spend 4x this, but this klipsch is a budget sub and a very good one at that, especially for this money.

The T10 is mediocre and actually over-priced from what I've read. It has an advertised frequency range of 20-200 Hz. At 20 Hz it's probably just puffing air. It's +/- 3dB point is most likely somewhere in the 30-35Hz range. A true 20Hz sub will be +/- 3dB at 20Hz. This PreSonus sub isn't even close to a true 20Hz sub.

Lousy reviews.

EDIT: Quote from an Amazon review of the T10
"Doing a number of tests, this sub actually doesn't do much below 32 Hz. At 30Hz it gets very quiet, and at 28 Hz it is hard to tell if anything at all is moving. Just an FYI do any of you who may want to use this in a Home Theater setup, not having the 20-30Hz range is pretty important in some special effects... same for gamers."

arkaaya got the open box earlier and it went OOS then. The K-100 is similar to the Klipsch R-10sw, but from a cheaper line. Both subs are very similar in performance and the cabinet/layout is extremely similar.

BIC F12 all the way!

Specs are 25-200hz

And they have been rated one of the best subs up to $1000 for a long time

I picked up 2 of these last year for $180 each and they are ridiculous!
They can be had for ~$200 but if you're patient you can get a little better deal
