"...Customers who want to see if their machines are eligible for a fresh battery should use the serial number checker on the MacBook Pro Battery Replacement page. You can find your serial number by clicking on the Apple logo in the menu bar and selecting "About This Mac." The serial number is located at the bottom of the information window.

Affected customers who are eligible for a new battery will need to visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider, make an appointment at an Apple retail store, or mail their device into an Apple Repair Center after initiating a repair with Apple Support...."

I wonder when the keyboard replacement program for the butterfly keyboard models will start. I'm tired of buying MacBook Airs simply because the Pro keyboard isn't reliable enough.

I've had to buy 4-5 laptops in the last year and a half for family members bounce

The least they could do is offer a 1080p display on the MBA

2016/2017 models of the Macbook Pro have a different keyboard from the previous generations. Any dust that get's under a key can cause issues. To fix requires complete keyboard and top case replacement. Keyboard cannot be replace without replacing top case. $700 fix if out of warranty!

Don't buy a current MBP model. 2018 models are rumored to be announced in a few months. Most likely 4 core on the 13 inch (versus 2 core today) and 6 core on the 15 inch (versus 4 core today). Also, the assumption is Apple will fix the keyboard issues.
