what's a good center for this speakers for Home Theater, and how are these compared to the highly praised 530 studios (beside the form factor). thanks

I still have Klipsch RP280s on backorder from Adorama from months ago. Should I wait on that or pick these up.

I never listened to either the 530 or 580 but I can say the 530 aren't sold anymore. A set of 530s does show up on ebay occasionally and the winning bid is usually around $750 for two of them.

Center go for studio 520 to match these 580 floor stands and you will have an incredible sound

I bought a pair of these about six months ago. They're worth every penny. If you're in the market for a set of speakers these won't disappoint, especially at this price.

I have 3 590s for my LCR. I just put my center sideways. Sounds incredible.

I have the 530s & 590s. The 530s work best in a near field setup; they also have a low amperage ceiling (when compared to my other bookshelf speakers), meaning they don't play well when played loudly.

the 590s pop up every once in a while @$900 pair. If you're willing to roll the dice, I would opt for the 590s over the 580s

Can anyone compare this speaker to the Paradigm Studio 60?

I doubt these have anything on Chane A5.4s that are going to be back in stock soon. If you get on the waiting list, you can pre-order them at a discount for around the same price.

I think that is a blanket statement that they have on all their electronics stating they are for use in the US.

Even my very fine vintage Yamaha stereo system uses two.

I have a pair of 590s, no power supply. I think the comment above about it being a standard statement on their listing is correct.
