I see these going used for $100 more on Reverb. This one is brand new.

And a quick preview of the guitar

I am really torn if I should get this... Love the look of it, now all of you get a chance to pick it up as I debate it.

Good price for a Gibson, but you could likely find a used Studio in that price range that would have more features and bang for your buck. If you must have new, this is a deal, but I would personally suggest the used route.

Where should I go to find a used studio in this price range?

Reverb.com or local craigslist. I've purchased 3 or 4 in that range, one yesterday actually. They're not always at that price, but come much more nicely equipped than this one. Just a recommendation Smilie

There is one other thing to note if you've never played a CM but have played other Gibson LP models that a lot of people don't seem to like.

The neck on CM are a bit wider than the necks on other models. CM are 20.78mm at the nut and 24.46mm that the 12th fret where most other models are 20.32mm at the nut and 22.225mm at the 12th fret.

I have a 2015 Gibson LPM, which is a nicer version of this guitar, but I prefer the wider necks. Just about all of my friends who play it comment that it would take them a bit to get comfortable with the width.

As far as the auto-tuner on the back, I had GC remove it before I picked it up.

Bought one, surprised how much I liked this guitar. SG in a Les Paul cut. Light, thin body with a chunkier neck.

They can sell you one without a case.
But they can't help you get that even-tanned look on your face.

But once you buy it, you can play it in the Sheraton Gibson.

If you were at a bar and only picked up one woman, but she was hot, funny and smart, would you be complaining you only had one pick up on your instrument?

You DO know the first Van Halen album was recorded with EVH's Franken strat with one pup, right?

I have a Dave Mustaine Dean Zero Punk with one pup too that seriously kicks ass.
