Everything I have researched has led me to believe this is the 2012 Sony release, mastered by Bernie Grunderman using the original analog tapes, and one of the best sounding live Jimi concerts available. If I'm right, a steal of a deal.

Hmmm...the expensive tickets to the show were $5.50 back then.... Now it seems that everyone that I want to see is at least $300 for decent seats...

I've lived on both coasts. Define "cheap."

My bad. I meant to say "aren't cheap". I fixed it. I don't think that anybody semi-popular is cheap nowadays...

Big headliners are usually old as f--k & out of their prime/not worth seeing. They can shove the greed up their ash. 😎👍
Ozzy is a prime example. Final tour = mad prices?? Please. He's been retiring for years.

This does not appear to be the AAA Grunderman pressing but a later pressing from digital - though I can't seem to confirm either for sure.
Here is the stevehoffman.tv thread about it:

http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/thr...842/page-5

It does list UPC 88691992601 as the Sony numbered issue which matches this Amazon listing but not sure if this is the same Sony issue. Buying to find out... if so, it is indeed a steal
