This ssd has only 200MB/s without slc cache. Micron 1100/MX 300 has 270~300MB/s without slc cache. 2TB Micron 1100 = $280

Unknown brand? Micron is a fabricator of flash and is partnered with Intel on all things flash related. Top notch product with no worries.

Looks like the 1TB was superseeded by the 960GB, probably to go more in line with their 120GB/240GB/480GB/960GB naming/sizing convention.

Edit:

Found this head to head, but pretty limited info on the 1TB drive other than it saying its 2 years old...

1TB vs 960GB part numbers:
SDSSDHII-1T00-G25
SDSSDHII-960G-G25

Interesting. SanDisk's product page for the Ultra II series [sandisk.com] lists a 960GB (SDSSDHII-960G-G25) but no 1TB (SDSSDHII-1T00-G25). I wonder what hardware is powering this.

The 1TB appeared in March of 2017, the 960GB is from September of 2014. Tons of reviews for the 960 around the web, absolutely nothing for the 1TB. I was confused when I saw this sale because there definitely wasn't a 1TB version when I bought the 960 for my server.

point less slow drive at 205 dollars when you can get 2T micron for just slightly more.

you can at least justify with price premium going with Samsung or Extreme pro series, this is just a laughing stock when the micron present so much more bang for the buck in the low end field.
