My wife has been asking for a 'good set' of stainless steel cookware and I ordered something from costco couple of days back it costed roughly $80 (https://m.costco.com/Bergner-10-p...93608.html) I saw the likes of the one in the post there but for the love of my life, I couldn't understand why they are priced so high.

How is this set for $530 a deal? What makes it so special?

I'm sorry, my knowledge about stainless steel utensils is ZERO :-(

made in USA.
Quality. Warranty. How evenly well and fast it cooks.
I use mine when I'm in a rush or when I cook food that needs to be cooked evenly. I have a set of all clad and a cheaper $150 cookware set

Thanks! What is quality in this case? Thickness of it or the kind of stainless steel or something like that?

Not their top of the line, but it's good. There is also a part of brand preference as well. Like Le Creuset. Hard to justify the cost over other enamel cookware but people have brand loyalty and they're well made.

Stainless steel is gernally going to be the same across cookware. The expensive one is three layers, stainless, aluminum, stainless. The metal is probably thicker and the cookware.will be notably heavier.

IMO get the expensive set and see how you SO like it. You can easily return if it's not worth it.
