There's another Charmin toilet-paper deal (by TofuVic) currently "on fire" on FP which, assuming I did my math right, is actually a little more expensive than this deal -- or is at least competitive -- especially if you do have a Target Redcard, or don't have Amazon's S&S15% unlocked.

Target currently has a promotion for a $5 gift card with the purchase of two packs of select TP: so if you add 2 packs of either listed below to your cart, you'll see the promo gift card automatically added, as well.

Before tax, and counting the $5 GC as pure cash, it should come out to 406 sheets/dollar ($0.00246/sheet),
...or if you have a Redcard, 428 sheets/dollar ($0.00234/sheet).
Both of which are cheaper than TofuVic's reference purchase-point of ~395 sheets/dollar ($0.00253/sheet).**Much credit to grammac's more-general thread which caused me to do the math.
**And again, much credit to TofuVic/his deal, for which everyone should go read extremely informative post #3!

I made a spreadsheet in case anyone wanted to look at my math... https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...sp=sharing
But I'll include screenshot attachments here too.

UPDATE (04/27/2018): Target.com changed the number of sheets on the Ultra Soft product page, decreasing it from 308 sheets to 284 sheets per roll. That is not cool. This is a decrease of 864 sheets, which is not a small number when you consider how many usages that equals. This increases the price per sheet from $0.00246 to $0.00267, which I don't think is a deal. The Ultra Strong product page continues to show 308 sheets and has not changed.

Thanks for sharing.

Price Analysis Bottom Line

This is a great deal if you consider a $5 Target gift card as good as cash.
With the 5% StS price and the gift card factored in, each sheet is $0.00246, which is less expensive than my personal "purchase point" of $0.00253 for quality toilet paper.
Side note: If you can get 15% Amazon S&S from the current Frontpage deal, then go with the Amazon deal. If you can only get 5% Amazon S&S from it, then this Target deal is better.

Quick Price References

Costco Wholesale's sale price on Charmin toilet paper is $0.00253 per sheet, which serves as the basis of my purchase point. (Costco's regular price for a package of 30 rolls with 231 sheets per roll is $21.99, and its sale price is $4.40 off at $17.59.) Do note that the Charmin toilet paper sold at Costco is slightly wider than the ones sold elsewhere.

Detailed Price Tracking

This spreadsheet of mine provides price tracking information, history, and other details. The highlighted blue rows are the products in this particular deal.

General Price Analysis Notes

For toilet paper price calculations, I do not factor in sheet widths and square footage.
I am not comparing apples to apples, so to speak, and this brand may usually have a higher price than some other brands. Of course, there may be other, more personalized factors to consider, including warehouse club memberships; shipping fees; product quantities; subscription programs such as Amazon's Subscribe & Save and Target's Subscriptions; convenience of stores and locations; and availability of cashback programs.

Favorite Toilet Paper Ranking
The following may be TMI. And of course, this ranking shows my personal preference, so there's a high chance you may not agree.

Please note that there is a huge drop-off in quality between the top 4 and the bottom rest.

Charmin Ultra Strong

everything you'd want in a toilet paper

Quilted Northern Ultra Plush Three-Ply

OMG - three ply! it really is plush. Charmin Ultra Strong is not as soft, so some people may prefer this

Charmin Ultra Soft

excellent, but often the same price as Ultra Strong, which is more tear-resistant

Kirkland Signature Ultra Soft

it's a shame this has been discontinued; note that this not the regular Kirkland type

Seventh Generation Toilet Paper

rough and thin; similar to Kirkland Signature 2-Ply

Kirkland Signature 2-Ply

in every way, the most generic toilet paper

Scott Extra Soft

prone to breakage; this is the only one-ply toilet paper on this list

Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong

despite its name, it isn't strong, but it is soft

Angel Soft

nothing to write to angels about

Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare

this toilet paper is annoying; it seems okay until you notice the lint particles

That link seems to be incorrect, as it brings me to the Ultra Strong product. The correct link is https://www.target.com/p/charmin-...A-37216873

Thank you for sharing the very impressive calculations and breakdowns!

It was a Bounty paper towel deal, and as far as I know the orders are getting cancelled.
