Hey how do these winix units compare to the $500 Rabbit, blueair and AllenAir units?

I have three winix. they seem to do OK filtering air. They're kind of loud on the 3/4 and very loud 4/4 setting

Does anyone have a AllenAir and been able to compare to these Winix?
Is it worth it to pay more for a better filter? Like is it a better HEPA filtration does it filter more or is it mainly more expensive for the quietness of it.

How much do the filters run. I've heard good things about Alen Air.

Do you Know how it compares to the more expensive AirIQ which is about $800-1000? supposedly it catches microscopic dust down to .01 microns which is tiny.

Most HEPA goes down to .03 microns which is pretty darn good in itself

Alen filters start at $69 per filter and go up to $109, depending on filtration features. If you buy in bulk, you can get them even cheaper starting at $275 per 5-pack or $515 per 10-pack.

I'm not sure how they compare to AirIQ, since I never had one. I know that they cover much larger area than Winix.

Amazon warehouse deals are mostly open-box products. Just check "Buy Used - Like New" section on that Amazon page. Amazon actually sells "damaged box" Alen right now for $406.

Thanks man. I heard really good things about Alen Air and IQ Air (AIR IQ?) I'm just wondering if they are better at filtering air and lower microns, OR if they are more quiet then just buying 2-3 winix units and setting those up around the house?

Anyone else have Winix? They used to be $99 but now they're $150-$160. If anyone knows where to get a Winix for under $100 I'd get one for bedroom (150-200sf) then and Alen air for the living rooms which are 800+ sf
