OP did u buy one? If yes, there is an item # on your receipt. Not sure what is going on but there are lots of laptop deal everywhere including Costco, OD, Lenovo, BB?

I got the 13 inch one and didn't see the 15 at my store.

The one I got was display unit and not sure how to remove that damn store display app from it? Anyone know?

I will call them tomorrow.

One hell of a price for the 4k/97WH/1050 4gb one.

I have one (except 32gb/1tb) as my work laptop. Love it, it lives docked driving 2 34" ultrawides without trouble. I did have to repaste both CPU/GPU and add some VRM thermal pads cooling to get it to stop throttling under heavier workloads. Very common issue with the 9560.

These deals will definitely be good to keep an eye out for as Dell rolls out the 2018 refresh of both the XPS 13 and XPS 15.

I didn't even see a 9560 at my local store in California last night. But then again I wasn't actively looking. This is a great deal though!

Do processor generations matter much, if they are close together? 8th generation is the latest one for Intel, right?

In the past the differences between generations wasn't as significant, but with the latest 8th gen processors reviewers have been saying there's a 50-60% bump in multi-core performance compared to the 7th gen.

$1500+ laptop that requires a teardown out the door, sounds dodgy.

I didn't buy one. Decided to go with the 13 because of portability. I imagine you can call the store and ask them for the information.
