I can't find anything definitive on how much RAM it supports, nor on the number of threads supported by the CPU.

Documentation shows it will only take 32gb of ram, but it in fact will take the 64gb that the rest of the 27" imacs can take. This is a pretty good deal. Same price as refurbished from apple itself.

I price matched Bestbuy yesterday. Awesome screen. My 1st optioned was the 21.5" imac for 1299, almost similar spec to this.

Please note that the 1TB Fusion Drive has only 32GB of SSD which is just enough for OS and some apps. This makes the 1TB quite slow as soon as the drive starts filling up. 2TB Fusion has 128GB SSD and is a much better option than this.

On a second note, it is better to wait for the 2018 iMac refresh as we are almost certain to see a 6core i5 or even i7's.

For those of you who can't wait, the 3.8ghz version with 2TB Fusion and RX 580 graphics is on a 240$ discount at Adorama (using Apple In si der) coupon

B&H Photo/Video is legit.

The price for this unit is medicore at best. Fusion drives are inherently slow. And replacing the drive in this monster is not easy.

Last year, they refreshed the iMac line in June. So, it could be announced at WWDC in June this year, or later this year around Aug/Sep. No-one knows for sure. The Buyers Guide on MacRumors gives a good idea

Same computer has been as low as $1250 on here via eBay+coupon (new) from a reliable vendor recently. Not hating, if you need it now you need it now, just letting everyone know.
