Grabbed the Used - Like New one for $445. Gran Turismo Sport is awesome with a G29 and I'm interested to see how much of a step up the T-GT is but wasn't willing to drop $700 on it. Thanks OP!

It's a world of difference, you'll never touch the G29 again once you get this lol

I hope so! GT Sport is my main racing game now so I'm interested to see the special feedback that the T-GT has in that game. I also play a bunch of PC sim/racing games so it's good to see that this wheel has a compatibility switch to emulate a T300 for games that don't natively support the T-GT.

Is it 2.5X in price better than the g29?

The only game I play is GT Sport on a playseat with g29 and shifter which I got for $199 during the Best Buy deal last year.

Is the TGT better than the VG T300 setup? Most annoying this with the Ferrari wheel is the button layout on PS4 and I guess not having the quick access knobs. But how about the realism feel compared between the two? Thanks. https://smile.amazon.com/Thrustma...+evo+wheel

Found an interesting comparison. I'm not sure if TGT is bc with PS3 though, but if you're a GT Sport player, apparently it's the one to get. https://gameidealist.com/gift-gui...ster-t-gt/

FYI, I'd be somewhat wary of the used offerings at Amazon, simply because Thrustmaster will likely deny warranty coverage due to the "used" listing. And other Thrustmaster wheels have had reliability problems in the past.

Buying a used "Thrustmaster" sounds unsanitary.

Depends how much time you spend playing racing games, if you're just a casual player and don't really try to be competitive the G29 is fine, if you're more serious about sim racing you'll find it worth it. If you're still hesitant, get a T300RS, those go on sale sometimes for $250 on bhphoto, there's not much difference from this to the 300. The pedals on the 300 are crap though, you'll need to spend another $100 to get the metal pedals when on sale.

Good point, though it looks like the New ones are sold out now anyway. Hopefully the reliability of the T-GT is better than what I've heard about the T300.

GT is way better to use with a wheel, burnout is completely different, GT is more like a racing sim and burnout is an arcade game to play with a controller

I'm in the same boat as you. I got the deal during the holidays. Got some PSVR deals as well and it's been non-stop with that. Absolutely mind-blowing with GT-Sport. Unfortunately, you can't play the full game in VR. I do my practice laps in it to really familiarize myself with the track. If you are looking to upgrade your immersion, this is the way to go. No wheel upgrade can compare, IMO. With that said, the VR rabbit hole is real. Now I look for every upgrade to add a little bit of immersion in VR.

This is where I feel the $495 price still feels a bit high for me. I told myself the next wheel setup I would go all in and get the Fanatec. Does anyone know how this compares? From what I've researched, the best upgrade you can do on your sim-rig is the pedals. I read the T-GT pedals are only so-so.
