Spent hours trying to find basic good stick vac for hardwood, like old Regina or original Bissell. No dice.

-1 Deal Score
Hi, after hours of researching reviews, I see that all of the stick vacs (approx. 5lb. to 7lb. weight) and no matter if corded or cordless, are flawed.

They're not worth the huge money due to the obsolescence factor.
Just read all their one-star reviews, and see. Those are the credible ones.
Furthermore, I don't have carpets nor pets.

Then there are the Rhoomba's & Neato's. But the problem is, i have clutter, and also tangles of cords everywhere, due to my preference to avoid WIFI for health reasons. And its way too much trouble for me to attend to the clutter & tangles to prep for the rhoomba. No strength left, trust me. Not just that, I for one, would never use the WIFI which simply add to their cost.

For the time being, i've still been using the horrible inferior-suction Bissell featherweight for some rooms, as well as manual Swiffer for other rooms.
(the alternative is constantly washing microfiber cloths, which some of the manual mops come with. Maybe i should opt for that, but i'm not sure which one is best, and furthermore, I'd need to buy a bunch of the cloth refills which jacks up the price.. Because it's not like i'm constantly laundering. I'm at wits end, because i'm not getting younger, I've spinal osteoarthritis, scoliosis, and lots more that nobody ever heard of. I wish the world would stop speeding up with all the sophisticated toys which i do not need. The 1980s world's offerings suited me just fine, so i'd like to speed backward in time toward that era instead. If i could just figure out how.

Well, i took a look at youtube. If you mean that upright vac with a hose attached to it, that's too cumbersome for me.I want something like the Original Bissell, albeit made with metal components.
