Ebay currently has "45%" off the Makita Sub-Compact Kit (Manufacturer Refurbished) with an additional 20% off using coupon code: PREP4SUMMER at checkout

329.99-150.00-36.00=143.99
With free shipping and Warrantied
This is valid until May 1.

I have seen this kit go for $239 at HD/Lowes and bounces around $180-230 on Ebay. Great reviews on these, seriously strong for their size and tough as nails. A Youtube review has someone throwing one of these down on the ground repeatedly and then parking his F-350 on it, still worked.

"Manufacturer refurbished" with 60-day guarantee. From the looks of it, it goes through Makita's inspections before going back out for sale again. Ad states "Guaranteed perform just like new".

The way most homeowners use these things, they become obsolete long before they are appreciably worn out. I buy refurb tools almost as a rule.

It's a good set. Very lightweight yet powerful. I think Toolbarn sold these refurbished at $130 around 4 months ago. Most of these are likely customer returns that got light use.

I got a refurb from Tool Barn on black Friday and it came practically new as far as i can tell. Not a scratch on it and works perfect every day at work.
This is a good deal.
