Googleexrpess tax issues

Sorry, this is not hot deal, but an issue.

Why does google express charge higher taxes than your state taxes? They keep charging me almost 10% with a reason goods were procured from Orlando Park, IL. I live in MI, which has no sales tax for food items and 6% on general goods.
Whereas all other companies I buy stuff , charge MI taxes.

Whom do I report this issue. I think this is illegal.

Please read google express's terms and faqs. You are charged tax based on where the item ships from. Not your shipping address since items are sourced from "nearest location with available stock". I live in NY, item can come from jersey and I can get 7% tax as compared to 8-9% in NYC. Where the item originated from is solely determined by google.

Things to Watch out when order from them:
1. Where they charged tax or order item for you, not closest location, but from highest tax state they can find. I ordered from Frys, to ship to MD, same item is available in Frys in GA, but no - they picked to ship from Houston, TX tax is 8.25%
2. How they tax: before any discount, even thought in Houston TX, where tax applied AFTER discount. Google charged tax before discount.
3. Ship Location - they generated same tracking number from multiple states, you don't even know if they really ship item yet, or where they ship it from.
4. Google "Express" Ship Time: item ship from Houston, Tx to MD takes 7 days via FedEx
