Mining. Demand is so high video cards are going for more than retail so there is no need to give incentives like rebates to sell the cards.

Mining is all time low compared to 6 months ago. Prices have come down a bit but with crpyto market picking up demand might go back up.

Needs to be a class action on GPU price fixing, just like the lawsuit on memory.

Demand is still high. Just within the last week is when cards have come down to retail prices but are gone in minutes. Usually you have to pay above retail for a used card on eBay also. There are so many long term holding parties in the mining business that ride the ups and downs that this downturn (which is still high comparatively to the history of crypto) doesn't phase them at all.

For example In dec microcenter shelves were empty seriously I am not kidding u couldn't score a RX 470, 480, 570, 580 or Vega cards at any price. Now they have every model. Prices are still high but not as high as in December they're still available.
