Went to my local costco and noticed that Galaxy Tab S3 is on sale for $399. Costco also giving $20 Google play credit.

It is $449 else where.

This tablet is still too much for what it is... would have thought we would see a fair $300-350 by now. That being said this is the lowest I have seen.

I think it's the general lack of modern Android tablets. Nothing comes close to the 10 inch oled screen on this.

True. I think it's due to lack of any serious competition, the price is still staying high

Very nice tablet, super bright and clear screen, and for my older eyes, much easier to get a font that's easy to read compared to iPad.

Don't really like the glass back, but the tablet itself is nice! Haven't figured out what the battery life will be like, seems to drain faster than my ipad.

Ends on 4/28. Promo is $380 if you include the Play credit, and that's better than the 6G ipad. Samsung will take added storage as well. Has an S pen included. So all in all, at least compared to ipad at $429 with the Apple pen, not a bad deal.

A friend bought the Verizon version of this. Honesty....unless you like to draw it's not worth it at this price. A lot of people bought the s2 for $175 which was new in box last year around the time the s3 was released. With Apple reducing the bezel size on their iPads the 'new' version of this will be out right around the corner. If I was going to ever splurge on an Android tablet that would be the one to get. 10"+ display, minimal bezel, and glorious OLED.

Unless you like to draw or absolutely need a tablet I would wait. The s2's screen is so nice I can't go back to my air 2's display even with battery life that doesn't compare and some of its quirks.

Problem is getting the S2 is a gamble coz it's probably going to be refurbished and with non removable battery don't know how long it will last on single charge

That's true if you were going to buy a s2 now. This was almost a year ago that I got mine. I meant waiting for the s3 to drop when the new model comes out.

I did get the same deal today, however the tablet wasn't displayed anywhere in the store. I did ask the associate to check the item number and they found it in stock. Same $399.97+tax including $20 credit for Google Market (or whatever this thing called for).

Android tablet market is dead (iPad is on life support).
You must have money to burn to pay over $400 for this.
