I used to buy the cheapest on sale but they always seemed to last just a bit longer than the 3 year warranty. these are way more efficient and have a 10 year warranty.

I received rebate checks for two of them within 6 weeks of submitting.

Besides the modularity, are there differences between this unit (SSR-750FM) and the Seasonic Focus Plus (SSR-750FX)?

I never get why fully modular is a concern for most people. Are you guys plugging it on something that doesn't need Motherboard and CPU?

Thanks, I mean in term of connections (8 pin PCIEs) because visually, I only see one PCIE connector on the modular portion. 750w should be plenty in term of power

There are a few different reasons , but basicly I'd say in most instances to be able to change to fully modded cables .
