First post, please be kind.
The Stanley FMHT74038A fatmax® 25 foot tape measure, 2PK is extra tough and durable thanks to industrial-grade blade Armor® coating on the first 3" and a high-impact ABS case. The tape measure offers an 11' blade standout, with a 1-1/4" wide blade for easy readability. It has 16" and 19.2" stud center markings simplify framing jobs. It also features a three-rivet, corrosion-resistant Tru-Zero® end hook for accurate measurements. The Mylar® polyester Film extends the life of entire blade. The top-forward blade Lock makes locking and unlocking easy, along with a specially designed multi-catch hook which grabs on top or bottom for versatility. A high-impact ABS case with durable rubber-holds up to heavy use, and the cushion grip provides comfortable, slip-resistant hold. Backed by Stanley limited lifetime warranty. Includes: 1) Stanley fatmax 25-ft tape, 2PK

Lifetime warranty on these fyi. One of mine just started to develop a crack in the blade, took it to home depot and they swapped it - no receipt, no questions.

Best price ever according to the 3 dromidaries.

Looks like a race to the bottom with 1-2 price drops per day.

It's down another $.30. But this is only a few bucks cheaper than Lowes/eBay. I'll wait for it to be a steal or a deal on a better model Fatmax before pulling the trigger. Thanks OP

These are made so crappy anymore. Went thru 3 so far at work. All broke within a month of normal use. Switched to the cheap harbor freight kind. If it's gonna break might as well only paya couple bucks

I've tried to return them plenty of times. Always get told I gotta contact Stanley. "STANLEY Tools warrants tape rules against deficiencies in material and workmanship for the useful life of the tool. Deficient products will be replaced if sent to: STANLEY Tools, 1000 Stanley Drive, Concord, NC 28027. There are additional facts about this warranty that you should know: STANLEY Tools is not responsible for damage resulting from excessive wear, misuse, abuse, damage from accident or alteration of this product." And it only covers workmanship. They tell me it's misused. This time they told me they're not designed to get any wet, I'd have to switch to stainless steel. They all look brand new.

Oh yeah, they only wanna replace it if it's for home use too. Don't mention using it on a job, and don't go in wearing your uniform. They did the same thing over a Razorback shovel. Told me they're only guaranteed for home use.

Took my 35' to Lowe's. Got shot down. Tear in the middle. I use it every day for work. Stanley has changed their warranty to avoid returns now. Home Depot may be the last hope. Now using Kobalt aluminum to avoid that hassle. HF are too thin for daily use. The newer Fatmax is also thinner. Check the first review on Amazon, good photo.

Money is better saved for a Milwaukee 2 or 3 pack.

Great price, great tape but honestly... It's too heavy. I'm a carpenter and my tape is in my hand 60 hours a week (maybe longer) and this weighs a lot more than I find comfortable to work with day in and day out.

I've been looking for a 25 to 30' tape with the magnetic clip end. id like to see how these perform butted against a saw blade at 8 to 12 feet. milluake has a good looking one but they're pricey

HF has FWP 25' measures. Go to hfpqdb.com for the coupon and buy something small/useful to go along with it. Or just pay the $4 and get a different Free with Purchase item.

Most people will never realize the quality difference. Those who will can use the lifetime warranty to get replacements.

Found this review interesting, compares a number of 25' tapes including this one. https://youtu.be/yu7nj_osg_A
