what if they ship the older 3600? (which is still being sold at many places for around $47 to $49)

Anyone know if this is the Roku Stick with the volume control on the side? Or is it an older model?

Thanks,
Jason

Wondering the same thing. If it's the 3800, I'd be happy with the deal. Been waiting for the price to drop.

thanks, pic shows newer remote than mine, now with dedicated DTVN button. I hate those taking up space on such a small remote. I have four buttons that I don't use.

I just found out today I can turn on my Roku TV with my chromecast DTVN app. Love the ultra chomecast, one less step to wake up to.

I can't be sure it's the latest model but Starting today and running through July 8th 2018 anyone who buys a new Roku and activates it will get a free month of fuboTV.

My experience with DTVN and Roku has been subpar at best. Anything with a typically high viewership (eg: live sports, award shows, etc.) tends to buffer regularly - even on my Premiere+ over wire through gigabit internet.

My Apple TVs and Fire TVs do not suffer from the same problem.

I realize the sample size is low, but my friends and family have all experienced similar issues.

Not a TD, mind you. Just a word of caution to those considering jumping on this deal with the intent of using it with DTVN.

yeah I was going to say, size matters sometimes. I'd rather have a bigger box with ethernet and better CPU for the DTVN app hog. That said my Roku TV OS does a nice job with the app. I was fine with DTVN dropping support for 1st gen firestick, it was weak sauce anyway. Even the UltraChromecast has a wired ethernet port.
