Switch, fuse and relay. I just bought this to make it easier on myself.

It comes with mounts but for my application, I bought a different set that worked out.

This is the lowest per the camel but average is around $20 so I guess it's a decent deal if you need these but not a good enough deal to get excited over. (At least for me)

Would there be a way for me to hook this up to a smart plug and have it flash on every few minutes for a few seconds? I would use it in my attic to scare the raccoons off...

You would be better off setting up a motion activated plug.. or working on raccoon prevention lol

These units are good (both Auxbeam and unbranded - I have dozens of them) to use the enclosure for better LED projects - I picked up a bunch for $5 each a couple years ago. They work great with an AC driverless-board LED swap, to make for some nice compact work lights. Anything 20-50W will work, but the 30W and 50W will dim down to roughly 25W from thermal protection - everything fits and works well. Add a reflector to clean things up, and it's even better. Ends up costing roughly $8 for a 20W warm-white work light.

3-conductor AC cable wired into LED board and grounded to body: PICTURE [masejoer.com]

Stock though, they aren't great. Too little output for vehicles with a useless beam shape. IIRC, they're something like 15W of low CRI output, with much of that output lost upward. Not enough output for offroad use - I'd suggest a few hundred Watts if you're driving out in a forest or alone on the mountains.

Edit:
They also work quite well for PoE IR lighting for surveillance systems.

This is a tangent but I have to help. Do yourself a favor and get two things: a strobe light and raccoon urine (ordered online of course). Had the bastards take up in my boat, that's the only thing that got them out. Good luck.

so... these lights will be bright for people who have only seen cheap ebay/amazon lights. and that might work for a lot of uses... BUT! they are nowhere near as bright as the $60 lights you can get... particularly the brand "totron"... which are as bright as rigid/vision x/etc

the reason these get reviews as good as they do, is because they are a bit brighter than stock lights, and they have that fun blue ish tint to them(hyper white)...

i have a pair of these on my mower and a single one on my daughters fourwheeler. for that they work fine. low draw, brighter than stock headlights.

for my fourwheelers i find these semi worthless. i can out drive them quite quickly.

I'd be more concerned about his expiration than his knowledge of these.
