Amex usually doesn't care what you purchase at the store where the offer exist, as long as you meet the minimum. I've never seen gift cards excluded.

I am planning to buy a gift card for $300 and then use it using one of AE#'s sales events for seconds. ANy reason not to do this?

if it was almost any other clothing store i'd be interested, allenedmonds has mediocre quality at way above typical cost.

Not seeing it in my offers. Can customer service manually add this offer? I redeemed the offer last year for $50 off...hoping to get this as well.

probably why you didnt get it.. point of the offers is to get you try the store.
