If only G Pay didn't require you to set up pin on your phone I'd be all in.

It's a promo I posted almost 2 months ago without the stuff you made up about PayPal.

The links to the terms and conditions don't mention linking PayPal, did you paste the wrong links in by mistake?

fingerprint works too, don't know why you'd want to add the means to spend your money without any protection though, seems like a good way to lose it?

I think what the argument would be is, why not just have security on the individual app instead of the whole phone?

For example, I no longer use Samsung Pay on my watch because it's too inconvenient to have to unlock the watch every time I want to even look at it. Why not just pin protect the app? The same could be said about the phone, depending on the user. Same with email - when adding my corporate email to my phone, my employer makes me out a pin on my phone. Again, why not just put the pin on the app?

Samsung did a piss poor job trying to detect when the watch is still on your body and thus it doesn't stay unlocked when it's supposed to. It's super annoying being on a run and not being able to tell distance or amount of time because a pin needs to be entered since Samsung could no longer detect all the movement the watch is going through...(I digress).

New Google Pay User ONLY
PayPal has nothing to do with the $10 Google pay promo
This post is wrong and should be deleted since it's a waste.

For clarification - you have to be new to the Google Pay service, not link your first PayPal account to Google Pay?

New Google pay user, PayPal again has ZERO to do with the $10 Google pay promo. OP misunderstood and misrepresented the 2 separate promos.

are you wearing your watch too loose? I had "body detection" set and it would only rarely be prompted for a pin while wearing. for Samsung Pay you can also set it to only need the pin when you launch Pay (and then it won't ask you again until you remove the watch).

Not a good deal for having to draw from your Bank/debit card 5 times just to get $10 Google Play credit(not statement credit, can only be used to buy apps music or videos) Paypal in Google Play does not accept credit cards saved in Paypal.

The $10 deal has nothing to do with PayPal. I posted and successfully used the $10 promo several times.

OP doesn't care and Slickdeals could care less that the deal is complete BS as posted. Have fun wasting time debating a deal that doesn't exist!

That's a good question. I always wished there was a hole right between the one I wear it at, and the next tighter one. It's possible that it's too loose, but it never seems to have an issue with telling my heart rate (granted, I haven't checked to see how accurate it is).

Thanks for the tip about the pin on the app itself. I have the Gear S2 Classic, and I've looked for that option but never saw it. I'll take another look, as it has been about a year since I disabled Samsung Pay.

FYI: You are INELIGIBLE for this promo if you have ever used ANDROID PAY as well as Google Pay.

See T&C for the Android Pay exclusion (definition of "New User").
