Check the monthly Red Hot Buys ad for more items at this price. Utility blade, 25' PowerLock tape measure, DeWalt screw driver set of 4, pry bar, painters tape, etc.

You could dull them with a bench grinder, or on concrete. But a few thick pieces of duct tape over the sharp edge should do the trick.

You must add the item to your cart to get the discounted price of $4.99. This item's web page @ ACE shows the full price of $9.99 which will be discounted once it's added to your cart. in for 1 deal. I chose in-store P/U to avoid shipping charges. Thanks OP!

These are the best.... I have these and a similar pack from harbor freight, there is a difference, the Stanley blades last long and are sharper, therefor cut better.... Good price

How do you guys throw the used ones away? Any tips to make them less dangerous for the recyclers or where it ends up for processing? (I usually packing tape then but it doesn't seem enough. Even after several layers.)

I generally make a slit in an empty soda or beer can and dispose of them in there. Safety reasons secondary to the main reason of preventing one from piercing the trash can liner.

Get a Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife to go along with these and you won't need to sharpen any daily carry for a long time.
