I snagged one locally for the sale price.

It took me under an hour to put it together and immediately make use of it.

Instructions are very good with notes throughout to help you figure out which side is which when it may seem ambiguous.

One important note for anybody thinking about not using the back board - the instructions warn you not to even stand the piece up without the back board attached ("collapse" is literally in the warning text). So if you wanted to avoid using the back board so that it's open on the back for some reason, you've been warned. The back board is fairly thick and is also screwed into place with like 20 screws (and not hammered in with silly trim nails like a lot of similar shelving units). It is obviously a significant part of the stability of the whole unit.

There are also no extra parts of any type. So make damn sure you have every single part before starting.

The quality IMO, is fantastic. I have a number of similar units from IKEA and this blows those things out of the water... at a third of the price. It looks better and is significantly more sturdy (my IKEA units wobble a good bit).

Just so everyone knows, BHG is made by Sauder, and you can get free replacement parts by using the link below. Input the model number and from the instruction manual select the part needed and enter the reason needed.

http://www.sauder.com/CustomerSer...Parts.aspx

I can't say how many times I've dinged a corner or left a cup on a piece and caused bubbling. They've replaced it for free. With two kids who spill liquids and don't say anything or push something too deep in a shelf and tearing the flimsy back cardboard...we've been able to use this replacement parts to get free replacements every time.

I believe, pretty much anything other than damaged during installation, allows for free shipping to be done to get the replacement part. Since Sauder provides free parts- be honest when requesting new parts, their shipping cost is quite reasonable. If you damaged it, pay the shipping...if it's from dings/scrapes or bubbling then it's all good.

One store near me also had the price at 15, but was out of stock, so potential for even lower price exists.

It's real heavy. I could not lift it. Need a second person. Took the help of Walmart employee to put it in the cart.

Totally agree with this. It is surprisingly heavy, an employee had to check on me to see if I was ok while I was putting the box on my cart. lol

Bought one, thanks.
Be carefull this is really heavy. From walmart to your car is not a only problem, you need to take this inside your home...Also this has lot of components. Be ready for playing Lego.
