Has anyone tried Melville's protein power sold at Aldi? If so, how does it compare to these? I bought a 2lbs tub for 14.xx dollars. It contains 30g of protein per serving which is higher than these.
How many servings per container? I think I did the math a while back and Myprotein is cheaper per gram of protein.

Do the math.

With the Aldi stuff you get 540 grams of protein for $15.00. I believe it's $16.00 at my store.

With MyProtein you get 760 grams for $10.00.

I thought the value might be the same since the weight between the two is similar. But the ALDI brand have more protein per serving and the serving size is standard among all brands? Anyway, I guess it comes down to the taste. Which one taste better in your opinion?

The Aldi brand is more than twice the cost of the MyProtein!

Did you try both? Which one taste better? I bought the Precision Engineered brand for 20 dollars per 5lbs tub. It tasted horrible but luckily Vitamin World accepts returns. I'm willing to pay more for something that I actually want to consume.

Again, 5lbs for $20 means nothing if you don't know how much protein is in that 5lbs?

I'm okay with most protein powders because I mix it berries and bananas etc. I want the most bang for the buck and MyProtein seems like it's the cheapest right now.

Just an anecdotal experience. I typically buy whatever brand costco sells (I think it's Muscle Milk). I picked up a couple of bags of this stuff last time it was on sale. I get incredible amounts of gas/indigestion after switching to this product. Even after a couple of weeks, there was no normalizing and I ended up just throwing it away. I would say questionable quality, buyer beware.
Might be the Sucralose. A lot of people have issue with it. You might try the Stevia blends or the unflavored.

Thanks OP.

For those that find this way to sweet, you can mix it with their unflavored. I mix two bags of unflavored with one bag of flavor and find I like it much better.

Just stocked up on the Costco protein deal. $20 off dymatize iso hydrolysate. Less than $10 a pound and tastes amazing.

I also got an 11lb bag for $52 using their code 1ST100. Rather have 1 huge bag than (6) 2.2LB bags laying around lol.

approx $4.75 per Lb

Idk about the flavor but stevia is something like 4x sweeter than glucose (normal sugar) so it should be a lot sweeter than natural
Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from a leaf extract. There are only three flavors they have that use Stevia. Canadian Maple, Chocolate Stevia, Vanilla Stevia. The rest of the flavors (except for the Unflavored) use sucralose which is a chemical/man-made sweetener similar to Splenda. According to some reviews, people dont like sucralose as a sweetener because it might mess you your good stomach bacteria? I'd go all natural whenever possible. But I have no idea how they taste compare to the artificial flavors of this brand.

According to this NEGATIVE YouTube review, MyProtein needs to get rid of the bag and use a tub instead to preserve the freshness of the powder:
