DIRECTV NOW.com [directvnow.com] is offering a ROKU streaming stick when you pre-pay for 1 month of service. Very similar to a popular deal posted where you pre-pay 3 month of service and get a 4K Apple tv.

Follow this link [directvnow.com].

sign up for a DIRECTV NOW account.

under plan options, select plan option "Live A Little" for $35/month

Add addition movie channels at an additional charge or click "Skip for Now"

select the ROKU stick option next to the Apple TV offer.

total ends up being $35 + free shipping for 1 month of DIRECTV NOW service and Roku streaming stick.

I echo this sentiment. Roku's interface is a lot cleaner, smoother, less cluttered, and you don't have ads shoved in your face on the home screen the way you do with a fire device. Also, there are some glaring omissions in the app library, Vudu, Google Play Movies/Music/Official Youtube, etc.

The only advantage that Fire TV has is the ability to sideload android apps like Kodi.

They need to stop these offers. I've now got more streaming devices than I know what to do with.

Yes but the $69 MI box from Wally is a better choice for Kodi, etc.

Agreed, my FireTV kept crapping out, so I just buy Roku's now.

This appears to be the non-4k streaming stick ( ie not the "streaming stick +").
