looks like a cool app and i would have installed... until i saw all the permissions it requires. i can't imagine why this type of app would need all these permissions.

i don't know why more people don't care more about the out-of-control permissions of far too many apps.

Also who doesn't have a recipe app on their phone at this point? If you don't then check out Yummly, you will never buy another recipe book again.

Just looking in the "Customers who bought this item also bought" section below it, there's at least four or five similar Instant Pot books, comparably priced. When they're that cheap, it's hard to envision that they did much vetting on any given recipe. These are the same books I see going for $8 in paperback at the local B&N, too.

Slickdeals does these super specific targeted deals and it skeeves me out a little. I was looking at these Crockpots at Bed Bath and Beyond because I needed cart filler when I bought a Nutri Ninja blender with some gift cards I had.

Checked this out. Its really nice app. Are there any apps out there which allow us to add recipes so that we can refer to it at later point in time?
Most of the time I change the recipe to suit my needs and need to note down the original measurement along with the changes. Having this feature in the app is pretty neat!

Thanks, I never thought to look for an app. I usually print out recipes at work and pick up ingredients when heading home.

This is a really good book. We have the print version and several of the recipes are quite good. Just had the one pot bolognese for dinner tonight! We felt like the recipes in here did not require tons of random ingredients and were very feasible, and overall pretty good without crazy prep time.

The better to steal all your private information with. Shit, why not just fire up your mic and record your conversations for marketing purposes, like Facbook does? People are nuts.

I've installed the app. It really does not need any permissions.
I've checked app permissions and see "No permissions allowed".
