Why isn't there more interest in this? Aren't these normally much more expensive?

Not sure, I thought it would get some decent traction since it was front page at only $2.39 less just a few weeks back and that was a really nice deal. It's only a couple bucks more than before with pickup but I was lazy and wanted it to my door so I added the holders which I wanted some anyway. I think the Craftsman ones may be nicer (I won't know until I get these in my hand) but for $2.58 each and great reviews overall on Amazon I won't complain!

I will change it to just the wrenches to see if it would get some interest if the price showed $41.19.

You still have a Sears nearby? All the ones here are closed.

Not saying this is not good a good deal or that I have a time machine (for all the smarta** comments that might come) but there isn't a lot of traction on this because a lot of people got this set from seas when they were offering 50% back in points. I got this set for $40 (it was $49.99 - $10 off $50 coupon with filler) and got $20 back in points.

These wrenches are regularly on sale at Menards for $40 and occasionally cheaper. I bought a set about a year ago but really disliked that they didn't have the offset ratcheting end. It's a bigger problem than it would seem. I ended up selling mine on Craigslist and still waiting for a deal on different ratcheting wrenches with the offset that also have reverse.

Because this seems to be the default "sale" price on these. I have a set and love them but you can usually get them around the same price through various retailers with their discounts. Mine I got from Advance Auto a year ago for about the same price. Still, it's a great set for the price. In fact, I think it's a steal at the price. Try buying a nice set of wrenches for $40 much less ratcheting wrenches..

Ditto on the menards price. I know not everyone has a menards so ymmv i guess but i cant get behind this price too much. As an aside these are annoying to remove from the package.

Kudos to op for pointing out the holders.

8-piece reversible sets, with the offset, are still $29.99 at Advance: https://slickdeals.net/f/11441055-gearwrench-ratcheting-wrench-sets-50-off-at-advance-auto-5-piece-14-99-7-piece-stubby-19-99-8-piece-reversible-29-99-7-piece-flex-34-99-plus-more?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1

Thanks for the back link on the offset set from Advanced Auto Parts - made even better by AMEX $5 off $20 up to 3 times. With the $10 off after two dips, Free shipping, and 8% portal cashback, I ended up grabbing both Metric and SAE, why? I don't even know - slickdeals effect.

If you don't have much of a need for the larger sizes, you could always get this one:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Ratcheting-Combination-Wrench-Set-SAE-MM-10-Piece-HRW10PCMIX/301962546?MERCH=REC-_-rv_mobileweb_rr-_-302569303-_-301962546-_-N

Husky brand apparently has a lifetime warranty and is home depot's house brand, plus homedepot doesn't seem to be anywhere near bankrupt like Sears is which makes husky much better than craftsman.

Personally, I'd rather just order the ones I need from ebay since I only own and work on Japanese cars, I only need some metric wrenches. I realized the other day that the only sizes I've ever used were 8mm,10mm,12mm,14mm,15mm,17mm,18mm,19mm,21mm,22mm,24mm,27mm,32mm

The rest of the sockets and wrench sizes have never been touched, but I suppose it's nice to have just in case. Even the hex sets in my craftsman toolbox were never touched because the largest one was still too small to unbolt the drain plug on Toyota/lexus vehicles, so I ended up buying a single husky one for the job. Might end up selling the socket and wrench sizes I never use but it seems like even with a deal on these sets, I wouldn't come out ahead from just buying the ones I actually use.
