Looking to integrate my garage into my smart home setup and came upon this.

Newegg has this smart garage door opener/closer on sale for 6 more days for $84.99. There's also a 3% cash back deal from a popular rebate website. Also, if you have Chase freedom, activate it and check out with paypal for an additional 5% off bringing potential total to $78.19. I it didn't add taxes for me.

It's currently $99.99 on Amazon:

I have one. It works great. Far better solution to add this to my smart home efforts than a my q opener.

Really depends on your garage door setup. took me about a hour for everything including to run the sensor line and get it perfect. You'll connect two wires to the back of your garage door as well. The app is decent on iOS.

All in all, way worth it for me to completely side step the distance issues I was having with my legacy openers.

Found out this is not compatible with my garage door. For it to work, I have to ship my wireless opener to them. There is no easy way around my useless garage door, and this house is supposedly built to be smart smh

It would be kind of nice huh, say you have a gate and someone comes over you can be like hey Google open the gate instead of looking for the GDO, get within range and press the button

Seriously though, keeps disconnecting from the smartthings hub that is in the next room.... Sometimes marked as "opening" in the App for days... Can't open it when I need to... I eventually just unplugged it and gave up.

GoControl working fine with my WINK hub (gen 1)....only few occasions, when i open garage door , then quickly needed to close it, it did not function ....I guess it is a safety feature
