Excellent price for this top-tier portable hand pumped espresso maker. Can use pre-ground or E.S.E. pods. Perfect for roadtrips, camping, traveling, etc.

So...you've never used this, found out later it can take grounds...so it's probably better than an Aeropress, but maybe not...and if you don't have Aeropress, it may be worth it although you've never used it...but you know these contraptions, and it's not worth it unless you're a camper...aye yae yae.

Its a manual nepresso. Interesting but pass. Maybe for campers. By i see an aeropress being more practical.

Durrrrr my home shower is better than this camping shower, why would I get the camping shower? lol

This is an awesome deal on a great product, if you like coffee and are away from mains electricity often.

Exactly what I use it for.

I've owned 3 aeropresses, and while I love them and 2 are still in regular use, they do not make espresso. Very very good strong coffee, but these are certainly different machines.

Whut? It's as close to a portable espresso as you'll get. Would be killer for backpacking and would make a great Americano. A French press in your backpack is far too bulky.

Methinks you don't know what you're talking about.

Haha I agree I'm not a super coffee connosuier. But I do know contraptions. I've have the aeropress, keurig, chemex, bodum fake chemex, portable camp pour over systems, a bunch of clock drip machines and one of those hipster hand grinders along with a electric conical burr grinder. I follow these gadgets and there are tons of knockoffs. Massdrop sells tops of contraptions for portable coffee. But lets be real. You going to lug around nespresso capsules to use vs freshly ground coffee. I'm sure tons of coffee snobs rolling in their graves thinking about those kcup or nespress capsules.

Correction this can take grounds. So its more pressurized version of a aeropress. I mean it can probably produce a better expresso than an aeropress. But for half the people out there aeropress does it. Trust me Ive been tempted to buy this type of thing a couple times. Just couldn't justify it. But I'm sure if you don't have an aeropress this is a great thing.

Pods? Ew
"The Wild earns the hybrid designation because it works with either loose espresso grounds or pre-loaded E. S. E. pods, which are little packets of espresso grounds that eliminate the mess and hassle of juggling beans, grounds, hot water, and the Wild itself."

Hmm.. unfortunately, for the Silver - One Size, I can only get it to come up as $74.99. What am I doing wrong or has the $45.42 passed me up?
