Soon you will see a coffee cancer warning in California too. Maybe one day the beach will have a sign warning us that too much sun and exposure to the smog can cause cancer.

99% of the plastics used in every day items are on that list. If an item made of it doesnt have the prop 65 warning its because whoever created the item didn't tick that box not because it doesn't contain X chemical. Basically what Kleptophobe and what people joke about is true, everything causes cancer in California

Price looks cheap. Anyone have experience with this product? Also, it looks like a 3rd party seller so I am not sure about that.

I have a larger version of this that I use in my living room and haven't had any issues with it, sabrent is a decent brand. Seems good for $8 if you want a multi-port charger and dont want to spend $30 for one with QC

Well, Anker probably will have a better return policy, but may cost considerably more. You have 30 days with this one.

What's this warning about regarding chemicals that can cause harmful birth defects?
Probably a requirement per California state law. Everything causes cancer (among other things) according to them.

I've bought several different things from this brand, and they have been fine. Mostly SD card related things, if I remember.

I might actually have this brand by my bed, and if it's the same - has worked fine... and I paid much more than this for it. I guess you could leave it unplugged while not in use if you were concerned.

If there are problems, you have 30 days for replacement/refund. There may be a 15% restocking fee that applies.

When you google the model number, an Amazon listing with 100+ reviews and 3.8 average comes up but then when you click the link you get a 404 page. I wonder why Amazon took down the listing?

I would say probably discontinued, hence this sale price on Newegg.
