What can you do with 100k Marriott pts if you don't really stay there. Are there international destinations where you can get a good 5 nights or so out of this?

yes, in short, hilton/marriott points are best used abroad for maximum value. hotel in Europe can be redeemed around 20k points and cost 250 euro

the thing is that this card only gives you 100k with silver status where as hilton give you 100k with gold, which worth quite a bit more.
