Walmart has Bristiling sardines for only 1.32 per can. From reading other reviews on Amazon and elsewhere these are just as good as King Oscar and other brands. Much cheaper as well. Personally i ordered 90 of them.

I love brisling sardines, so thank you! Minimum for free shipping is 5 packs of 6. You can select slower shipping for an additional discount. Final cost for me was $37 for 30 tins if brisling. Pretty hot deal to me.

Two things to keep in mind: these are smaller quantity than the other brands (3.5 VS 3.75 Oz) and also these are not packed in extra virgin olive oil, instead being packed in an unspecified olive oil (probably low quality light oil). Still, for the price I'm willing to give it a whirl. Thanks again.

Got 5 orders for 30 cans.......would've gotten even double that if it was within my grocery budget. If it really does rival king oscars then this is a steal, especially since Walmart raised the king oscar prices by about a quarter recently. That being said, after I made my order I clicked on the item on my order page and seems they're available for individual sale too for the same price (for anyone who wants less than 6). Must buy 2 though. I'm thinking of checking to see if it's in store and buying one to test out before I pick up my order.

Eh, don't care about the oil personally, so long as it's all fat. Who even consumes the oil anyways.

A Youtube video on how they are made. [youtube.com]

Apparently a nice looking lady in a surgical gown packs, seals, and labels each can individually. No mass production in Latvia. In for it!

Are people eating these instead of taking omega 3 pills? Serious question as I'd like to up my intake more naturally and had heard this is a good way.

The fish oil pills are a waste of money. Your better off eating real food like this and getting your omega 3's. You not only get that but tons of other benefits eating sardines.

Small cans are out of stock, but a comparable option is still available:

Pretty much the same cost per oz, bigger containers. A wee bit cheaper per oz actually I think

"Polar brisling sardines are wild caught in the Baltic sea "

Baltic sea is a highly polluted sea from runoffs from farming and industrial activity. As it only has a narrow outlet to the ocean - between Sweden and Denmark – its water takes 25-30 years to refresh itself.

Nevermind. They wont let you buy enough on google express to qualify for free shipping. Limit is 10. I was thinking of just adding a 2$ item to it to get free faster shipping + a free 2 dollar item (after promo code) ...but was out of stock by the time I tried checking out anyways.
