Asics GEL-Kayano 24 Running Shoe [jackrabbit.com] $84.97 ---> Now $79.98
Best For:
  • Surface: Road, Gyms, Flats
  • Category: Stability ヨ Designed for runners who have flexible arches that over-pronate(or collapse inwardly). Stability shoes feature a posting or firmer foam underneath as a support underneath the arch to prevent the foot from over-pronating. The structure in this category is less than that of the Stability Plus shoes, but is adequate for the majority runners that over-pronate. Runners who need stability shoes tend to experience shin splints, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis if they are not wearing a stability shoe.
Benefits Include:
  • FluidRide Midsole provides the ultimate combination of bounce back and cushioning properties with reduced weight and exceptional durability
  • ASICS FluidFit upper technology combines multi-directional stretch mesh with stretch reinforcements that adapt to the athlete's foot, creating a truly customized glove-like fit.
  • Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems: Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

I've been waiting for another price drop and this was it. Even the 4E sizes worked...and shipped to HI for free. Thanks!

Just picked up my 2nd pair of these, larger toe-box than 22 or 23 for those who have ran in them in the past. I like em.

If you're a runner who pronates (strike inward), for sure. Change them out around 450-500 miles and you'll enjoy.

I don't see men's wide width.... I see it in women's only.

Are these true to size?

Couldn't I buy a larger size in women to get size 9 in men's?

I agree. I used to have to buy the 2E but because of the extra room in the toe box regular now fits me perfectly. Not a bad deal. I paid $100 couple weeks ago and don't regret it. I will purchase another pair but will wait till it hits $50 to $70.

Yes true to size.

HELL YEAH i was able to order. had to cycle back to the product page from the error page i was getting.

never been this stoked about a shoe deal before, but i've been waiting for a decent pair of running shoes that aren't hideous to go on sale with wide width seemingly forever.

would have preferred to get the blue and orange, to match a lot of the chicago bears gear i have, but no wide option in my size. black and white looks good too, so picked those up.

just in time for spring, or whatever the hell you call this season we have in chicago right now...

thanks OP!

Only shoes I run in for the last 4 years. But if you don't know how your step works and how your foot moves in a running movement you should go to a running store and figure out if you pronate in or out in stride. It affects what designs will help you and make you more stable

Only Men's Silver/Black available in other widths, at least for me.

They are perfect shoe if you have an outside step that rolls inward
