Solid laptop from the reviews I've seen. The Kaby Lake i5-7300HQ should be plenty for most needs. The 1060 is a Max-Q version, however this particular model should boost very close to the standard 1060 [youtu.be].

One of the main reasons I'm jumping on this is due to the Costco/Citi card 4-year warranty deal (2yr costco+2yr Citi extension), not to mention the 90-day return policy.

Just purchased this today, actually. I think the warranty makes it work it. (I thought it's just 4 years though?) Note, there is already a post about it though. ^_^

UPDATE: So I've had mine for a few days now and I'm really liking it. I had it delivered to Costco to save $15 and the process of picking it up was fine (had to sign for it and wait several minutes). The screen is nothing to write home about (but that's comparing it to my AW13 R2 1440p OLED that I'm replacing). I definitely prefer AW's keyboards over this one as well. It is a VERY chunky laptop, which I have no problem with though. But, everything else is great. The SSD feels quite fast, compared to my previous hybrid drive. Everything seems to runs smooth. Laptop is incredibly quiet for regular task but gets horribly loud when gaming (no surprise). The temperature of the keyboard stays quite cool. I can run BF1 on ~Max settings at what I'm guessing is an avg of 50+ FPS.If a better deal pops up at Costco within the next ~80 days, within $100 of this one, I'll probably return it and get a different one. lol

Yeah pretty sure that the Costco warranty is manufacturers warranty, which Costco just doubles, making it a two year warranty. Then, if you use the Citi visa card you get another 2 years. 4 total.

My understanding is the Costco and Citi components are extensions of the manufacturer warranty, which should be 1-year from Dell directly, but someone please correct me if they know otherwise!

Apologies if this was a repost, I did a search but didn't see anything regarding this specific $750 price point deal.

Went ahead and chatted with Dell to confirm, you are correct! They stated the Costco warranty service replaces the Dell base warranty in this case, which indeed results in a total of 4 years of coverage.

warranty makes this SLICK. This laptop will die before 5 years...guaranteed! None of my gaming laptops have made it past 4 years. Probably poor cooling...keep it cool! I have the 7567 and its already giving me issues after 5 months....Restarts randomly on battery. Do not spend more than $1000 on an electronic device unless its an apple...it will fail....my moto z play has gone two times in 6 months...thankfully within warranty...
Strong claims you made. Max-Q is made for better cooling. This notebook indeed runs much cooler than my previous Lenovo. I don't know about your prediction for 4 years but mine is running still cool and very well... I am not sure how moto z is relevant...

It's a total of 4 years of warranty, NOT 5 yrs. confirmed.

I like how they list "no optical drive" as a feature (it is, imo).
