Meh, better to pick up the disc version for around the same price with pro card or wait for Bestbuy to have the game of the year edition for around $10 on sale every so often

This game is so old. I mean I loved it when I played it, but man that was a loooong time ago?
Backward comparability and the new version coming out sooner than later has resurrected this game and jacked the price back up. This game has been a $5 bargain bin game before but not anymore.

It's a shame Rockstar can't get usable code from this game. They'd make a fortune if they remastered it.

That's not a remaster.

I'm talking revamped textures, lighting, character models, HDR, LoD, draw distance, etc.

Microsoft just made it 4K and it's the same game as before.
Rockstar remastered LA Noire, I haven't played it but the information I read said people were not impressed with the remaster at all. Meanwhile, almost all glowing reviews for the Red Dead update.

Best game ever. I've never had so much fun playing a game. Yes it's older, and no I have not re visited this since it was released, but I have the digital version, along with undead nightmare from a sale a year or 2 ago. Looking forward to playing this again before RDR2 comes out this year.

This is why America has a obesity problem, your game console is likely less than 10ft away from you and unless someone is physically disabled it takes maybe 45 seconds to grab a new game and switch discs which a person maybe does once or twice during an average gaming session, and if someone is in the small minority that plays games 8+ hours a day then you definitely need that 45 seconds of exercise to switch discs which takes very little effort. Yes digital games are convenient but they are often more expensive than discs and hold no resale value if you end up not liking the game. All that said the game of the year edition with all the undead nightmare DLC is way more worth it than just this base game, the GOTY edition has been on sale at Best Buy for GCU (gamers club unlocked members) for about $10 a few times. Anybody that really wants to fully enjoy this awesome game is better off playing the game of the year edition.
