This was under $60 in past on SD on Newegg. Also under $50 on geekbuying AC. Thanks for posting though.

I've been waiting for this to go back to $60 on GearBest. This is $72 and still ships from Hong Kong. Not a great deal.

Too expensive.
I bought it for 48$ on Aliexpress.
It is always for ~55$ on geekbuing, gearbest and others.

To have this track a run via GPS, do you need to have your phone on you? Or can it store the run data and then sync it to your phone when you get home?

I'm a former android watch user.. we're talking about a mini phone watch that has sim/speaker capabilities etc...

So from someone whos had an android wear watch here is my following mini review:

+Battery life... I get phone calls/text/message/notice and it vibrates the phone constantly.. run 3-4 times a week using GPS about an hour or so and the longest I've had was 26 days without recharging. You can probably get 30-45 days if you don't use those features... I've had the watch since March and I've only charged it twice.. unlike android and apple watch that get 1-3 days etc..
+GPS... if you're a runner/biker/walker it can track your activity and sync it with the app and it'll show you a map of your route.
+Weight... its light! I dont even know that I'm wearing the watch.
+Waterproof... IP68, I've only taken it off maybe twice to charge and I showered with the watch and works just fine.
+Always on display... it uses an e-ink display so the backlight doesnt have to turn on, you can see it better in sunlight.
+Sleep tracking... not a big feature nor 100% accurate but it does guestimate when your heartrate goes down = sleep, heart rate goes lower = deep sleep. So if you wanna see how much sleep you get overall its not too bad.

+/- stock band feels like it may come off/cheap at the same time its comfy and doesnt feel like you're wearing it.. you could get a 20mm band and replace it.
+/- looks like an apple watch/fitbit, people might comment, wasn't really a big fan of the square shape.
+/- heat rate monitor, it will track it.. but its not that accurate at all.. 150bpm may show up as 80-90.. maybe its the algorithm or sweat or how tight the band is.
+/- for us muricans.. limited face watch that has only a few imperial/F, most of them are metric/C you only have a few to pick from but you can get 3rd party apps to install custom faces
+/- oh yeah i have it track my heart rate every 10 minutes lol.. that could eat up chunk of battery but it kinda shows you around what time you had the most activity

- doesnt have music control for those looking but you use custom 3rd party to make gestures control it i guess (tap, double tap etc...)
- display not that high quality
- mifit app not that great
- i paid a premium at the time, it was like 90ish while gear best or other sites had them for 60ish

overall its a good watch, if you're used to android or apple watches you may miss those other features, i got used to not relying on them as in i dont want a "phone" on my wrist lol.. the only thing i did miss was music control.. battery life was maybe what sealed the deal for me and the running/tracking feature

You can run the watch's GPS without the phone by holding the button. Give it like 15-20 seconds before it connects then you can run. When you're done you can sync to the phone app and see the route you took on a map.

I Picked this up on the Newegg Flash deal for $60, its barely worth it. I constantly have to unpair/pair the watch to the app, and lose the data I already had for the day.

Great review just above from @UZ7. Also, be aware... watch face only reads in 24-hour time.. which I know can be a deal breaker for many Americans.

No need have the phone on body. The watch has built-in SONY 28 nanometer low power GPS chip. it have the Historical data function . It' could show the historical track record and track charts directly . It can also be used together with the mi sports 3.0 app. The app need download first on your phone.

Interesting....I don't have a problem with mine regarding pairing. Mine stays connected without issues. I have download a watch face that reads in 12 hour, but midnight reads as 00:00:00 but all other hours in 12hr format. The funny thing is I wear this watch more than my Apple. I like the quirkyness and the hackability of the BIP.

Thanks, that's a great feature. I like apps like gps run tracking apps, but running with my phone is awkward. I might hold out for something that can play music through bluetooth headphones too though.

The weather is the main thing that drops and requires unpair/repair to get back, then it forgets all my settings (Long push for cycling, etc.) And HR is pretty much worthless compared to my Garmin HR strap. Where are the third-party watch faces available?

Search for "Amazfit Bip watch faces" on the Play Store.

I've been very happy with mine and had zero issues with so far. I lose about 1-2% a day with all notifications turned on. I work out at the gym and use the GPS rarely though.

I got mine for $56 from "Light in the box" and it's totally worth it.

I have two questions, if anyone can answer?
First, does the watch have a sim slot?
Second, does the GPS can be used to track where the kid is? LOL, my kid's school bus has never been on time, some time it is early, sometimes it is 30 minutes late. I want to track the kid real time, so I don't need to stand under the NE winter weather and freeze to a popsicle.
