Awesome. Thanks OP! I've been waiting on a good deal for the 2050 last few months.

Nice find. Love my projector.
Been wanting to try out one of the new 4k faux ones, but not sure how lower res rips will look like.

2150ST is short throw meaning you can locate your PJ closer to the screen/wall when projecting the image. I think the other difference is the lag time on the ST which is better for gamers.

I think you have that backwards. The ST has lower lag input meant for gaming.

Its actually a HT 2150 ST... average input lag of 17ms in "Game" picture mode, along with "Fast Mode" enabled in advanced settings. Other picture modes on this projector range from 30-50ms in latency, which noticeably detracts from the gaming experience

The HT 2050 gives a lag time of 33ms

Excellent review here

https://thewirecutter.com/reviews...projector/

Also, the other difference on the HT2150ST is that it does not have the vertical lens shift that the HT2050 has.

I thought they were the same projector, other than short zoom.
Now I'll have to hire a few software engineers to decompile, and make changes to the 2050's firmware, so that I can mod the refresh rate.
Edit: Lowering the refresh rate, slightly reduces the vivid colors produced by the color wheel. It also will slightly reduce the details of the image.
That's what BenQ did anyways. But part of that could also be the short throw aspect.

Just a heads up - I bought it this morning and there is also a 5% back with Chase if you pay by PayPal. Brought I down to about 410 for a HT2050!! Any motorized screen suggestions?
