I'm still using AM3+ boards but planning to upgrade soon, do all AM4 boards support DDR4 3000 without overclocking like AM3+ boards support DDR3 1600??

If I'm not mistaken, DDR4 is capped at 2133, any higher speeds with need to be OC'd via XMP/DOCP.

I just wanted to chime in on the ADATA memory lifetime warranty a little bit, because I am currently in the the process or going through RMA process with ADATA DDR2 667 memory (yes I know it is old -- but it is still useful for my purposes).

I initiated the RMA process and was properly authorized for the return and sent them my SODIMM modules mid March, and with the understanding them saying that DDR2 is not being used much anymore that they have to send the modules back to Taiwan for repair, which I was okay with. The customer care rep said it would take a month, and it was okay with me.

I contacted them 1 month later, and they said they haven't gotten it back but should in another week. So I gave them two more weeks, and contacted them today, and they said headquarters say it would be another two weeks.

So now I am looking at full two months, and many promises broken as far as when my broken product would be "fixed" (They said they are going to fix it, which to means to me they will remove bad chips and reflow replacement chips back on). I am perfectly okay with that method of repair, but it is the time-line on how long this is taking for RMA...

Xmp is just a profile spec for a particular piece of hardware so the mobo can ID it. I wouldn't exactly call it overclocking.
