Just beware of this sneaky term. Please correct me if wrong, but last time SD checked, Sinemia operates on 1 movie every 30 days. (E.g. You have to wait 30 days to watch second movie.)

If you pay for 2 movies a month, you can use your second movie once you check into the first movie I believe. You can only use 1 of the 2 tickets as a premium ticket though (3D or IMAX). The plan resets monthly from when you first paid for it.

This is incorrect.

Only premium movies (IMAX, Dolby) have the 30 day limitation, not regular 2D or 3D movies.

One way to get around that is if you're a rewards member at various theater chains that lets you bypass the fee (e.g. AMC Stubs).

I've seen people post this but is there any proof? I've been a member for a couple months and I haven't seen any indication that I now have to pay advance ticket charges.

My membership says No Extra Fees in the faq.

It was changed in the last few weeks. The new TOS says that the fee is charged to the payment method on file.

This company is a total mystery. They're constantly messing around with the terms of their plans (like Moviepass).

As an older member, it may not affect you (yet). But new memberships had in the terms that you have to pay the Advance Tix Fee, which is a deal breaker for many.

The fact that these new plans are yearly in this Ponzi Scheme, you can be left getting ripped off midway if they go under OR change the TOS substantially.

All I see from Sinemia is a cheap looking website that a Middle Schooler could construct, non-existent Customer Service and constant retooling of their membership terms/plans.....i.e. just like Moviepass.

As they're bleeding cash trying to gain enough members to sustain the Ponzi, my bet is they both go under and Customers will be left to scramble CC returns with their banks, which won't bode well if previous history lessons with such ponzi schemes have proven

At least with MP, you can see enough movies in one month to pay off MP for the full year. With Sinemia 2/mo. restriction, this is impossible.

I'm certainly skeptical on how many of them will opt for 1 movie per month. With T mobile tuesdays and Atom already having a promo for $4 and $5 tickets at least once every month and not to forget 1+1 Tuesday offers and others.

*Seriously Sinemia*, Who are the customers you are targeting with this plan.

I agree. There are a lot of competing promotions out there, but I think they wanted to target people who was on the fence about the Moviepass, but didn't like the idea of physically going to the theater purchase tickets or don't feel like they can watch that many movies a month. The most appealing deal might be the 2 tickets/month for $9.99. You can also watch IMAX with the membership which is nice.

This is why the monthly plan is far superior to the annual plan - you can see a premium movie on the last day of the month and then see another one on the first day. The flexibility is very helpful.
