Was debating on posting this as well, but these are seller refurbished and it's a total crapshoot. I'd pass and hold out...Memorial Day is coming and I'm sure we'll see some deals on new ones Smilie

I posted it but still debating. But if I did I was use paypal just in case there was any problems. Wasn't going to post it but did so just in case someone would know that this was available. Plus Walmart has it for $309 refurbished with 90 warranty & also refurbished UN50MU6300 50 Samsung 4k HDR UHD for $339 with 90 day warranty

no tax though for CA. I've bought stuff from vipoutlet. Sometimes it's really like new, other times, it's used and meh. Not sure I want to take a chance on TVs though

I'm a newbie forum member (long time lurker). Recently purchased the same TV for $318 with reservations given they're seller refurbished. I was pleasantly surprised as the TV looked brand new- no scratches or marks The only thing out of the ordinary was that the remote was slightly scuffed. Also, I had to arrange a scheduled pickup. The TV came in what appeared to be original boxing and had very liberal amount of tape. Not sure if my experience is an anomaly or I happened to win the electronics lottery.

I took a shot on a refurb the last time this came around and the thing came with a cracked screen. Buyer beware. I ended up getting a new one from Costco that was on sale. When I got my ebay refund for the refurb, they also refunded the value of the coupon. So in the end I got a brand new one with Costco's warranty for basically the same price.
The TV is very nice especially for a 55" for under $300.
Anyway the bottomline is, as mentioned here before, seller refurbs are a total crapshoot.
