Pampers Swaddlers for Newborns - Amazon $26.79 (128 count)

So I just became a new parent and buying diapers is my duty now. I recently saw these pampers and they sell for $35 on Target.com. However, Amazon has them temporarily out of stock and they are currently going for $26.79 - so in my opinion thats a damn good deal for 128 count. Just place an order and when they become available it will ship.

Comes out to like 21 cents per diaper. Anyhoo - i know its such a specific deal for newborns but i hope I can help any parents out.

Thanks for posting, and congratulations! I know you're probably in a rush so need them immediately, but just wanted to let you know on a good deal we've gotten size N and 1's for around 10 cents each, if you're dedicated to Pampers Swaddlers (as we are, now on size 3 to 6 - have a generic diaper alert though, hence here).

If you're just shopping around the diaper brands and want to save some money in the long run, it might be worth it to try some different brands (Costco, Target, Huggies etc) because each baby's shape/ habits will determine which work for you.

Meanwhile, keep a diaper alert up, there were a few deals recently that were decent.

And I know you didn't ask (about any of this, but this is what I wish someone had told us when we first had kids) - Water Wipes are great, but wiping less is even better - not every single pee diaper also requires a follow up wipe. Diaper rash is not fun for anyone.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! any advice is greatly appreciated. I definitely can agree on that diaper rash - a crying baby is definitely draining. haha

No problem! And ha yes - fingers crossed your baby isn't colicky... we went through the whole regime - Dr. Brown's bottles only, burping for 10 minutes, everything, then thought maybe his diaper was uncomfortable, the wrong size, etc - turned out he just ran warm and was over dressed (hence his not crying whenever we adjusted his diaper) - it's like a mystery series, taking care of a baby.

Are newborn diapers really needed? I feel like you can go to size 1 rather quickly. Definitley, 128 counts are not needed.

First of congratulations! As far as size N vs size 1, it all depends on the baby. Got an advice from hospital nurse, if baby is over 8 pounds usually you could just start with size 1. Good luck on your new journey and the start of restless nights !!!
