Klipsch R-24F Floorstanding Speaker $199

I've been watching the higher models go on sale and now the R-24f's are finally $50 off.
It looks like Fry's had them for cheap for a while back but I don't live near one so this is probably the best deal I'm going to get (esp w/ with free shipping).
Thoughts?

Same deal on Crutchfield if that's your source of choice

It's a decent deal. But I would hold off since klipsch is gonna put out there new reference line in a few months. There gonna be a lot of sales.

it's on sale everywhere
Yep, most distributors have a deal with manufacturers so they get best prices. Amazon typically requires it if you are going to sell through them (depending on their contract).

Interesting. Have you found an article or something about this? Honestly, I'd prefer not to wait for months, and I'm trying to weigh how much they would actually reduce the price of these anyway. For example I doubt they'd drop below $150-- they'd probably be break-even once you incorporate shipping, distribution etc.(Not to mention devaluing their brand).

I don't have any articles to back my statement up. But I buy a lot of audio equipment and I notice theses trends,I guess you can say it's my opinion. I owned the r24f before and I only paid 125 each with free shipping.

I'm back to thinking if I can fit the R-26F's into my system (physically it may be difficult with the room I have) they're an even better deal at $250 each. Better sensitivity, taller, and have a bit more power. How was your experience with the R-24F's and any experience with the 26's? Thanks!

They were ok,but I needed more power for my space. So I purchased the rp260f for 725 for pair. If your interested and if you don't mind a damaged box, you can get the rp280f on eBay for around 650 for two. Also it's from an authorized dealer.
