Everytime these hit slick deals I gotta say that the headband on these are known to crack at the joint of driver housing and headband and people have trouble with Sony honoring the warranty. Even after receiving a new pair tho there's no way to prevent it again so...stick to the QC 35s I guess

Probably only on CL/Facebook groups since the same seller has the same speakers on the bay for $40.

That's a known issue with the M1, this is the M2. I haven't owned either but follow discussions as I'm looking to buy the M2.

How can you tell the difference between M1 and M2? I bought a refurb pair

Read reviews on ammy, still an issue with XM2.

Easiest way to tell is by looking at the color of the Sony logos on the headphones, white = new Mark 2s and black = old mark 1s. Also only new model connects of the Sony Headphones connect app.
